A Client’s Story
Paula, not her real name, enrolled in the Lifestyle Transformation Program because she had chronic fatigue, mild depression, anxiety, and was diagnosed with insulin resistance and PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). Sometimes she skipped breakfast, was a little stressed, and had trouble falling asleep. Paula was determined to follow the LEAP eating plan to achieve her nutrition goals. She wanted to prevent type 2 diabetes, obtain a healthy weight, and be in the best shape possible when she was ready to have children.
In 3 months, Paula learned healtheir eating habits, felt less anxious, no bloating, slept soundly throughout the night, and lost 19 pounds. The LEAP eating plan wasn’t easy for her to follow however I was there to hold her accountable and help her every step of the way.
Connecting the Dots
Food intolerances or sensitivities can be triggered by many things, such as chronic stress, chemicals, additives in food and skin products, and poor gut health. There may be a connection between what you’re eating and how you feel. An elimination diet, removing certain foods from your diet, may improve a few symptoms. But it isn’t a long-term solution. If you suspect foods may be causing any of the symptoms mentioned above why not scheduled a 15-minute complimentary phone consultation with me. I will assist you with finding out which foods are “safe” for you to eat based on a blood test. Don’t let food sensitivities prevent you from living your best life!
