Christen S. Miller, MBA, MPH, RDN, LD, CCP
Christen is a registered dietitian who resides in Atlanta, GA with Certificates of Training in Adult Weight Management. Christen is also a Trained Lifestyle Coach for the Diabetes Prevention Program and a Certified Chronic Care Provider. She enjoys inspiring others to develop better lifestyle habits in order to become their healthiest selves.
Her professional experience is primarily in adult nutrition; particularly, the areas of weight management and chronic disease such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and heart disease.
Christen’s love for nutrition began when she was a young girl in Savannah, GA. Her parents always encouraged her and her siblings to consume plenty of fruits and vegetables with their meals. These healthy habits followed her into adulthood, and she eventually learned about the connection between good nutrition and preventing and/or alleviating chronic disease in college. Christen also witnessed the unfortunate effects of chronic disease such as cancer, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, etc. amongst family members and friends. This inspired her to share her nutrition knowledge with others. She became a registered dietitian as a result.
Education
- She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Georgia State
University in Atlanta, GA. - She earned a dual Master of Public Health and Business Administration from
Benedictine University in Lisle, IL.
Words from Christen
One of my favorite nutrition-related quotes is, “Let thy food be thy medicine and thy
medicine be thy food”-Socrates. The way we eat and the lifestyle choices we make
have such a tremendous impact on our overall health. Thus, it is critical to have reliable
resources to help influence one’s decisions in this regard. I consider it an honor to act
as a knowledgeable and trustworthy guide for my client’s healthy lifestyle journey.
