This avocado, turkey and tomato salad has all the ingredients for a sandwich without the bread. I made this salad because it's quick, simple, and filled with a healthy fat (hello avocado), lean protein (smoked turkey breast), and vegetables (tomato, red onion, lettuce). An easy, nutritious and satisfying salad for lunch or dinner without a lot of work.

  • 1 avocado - peeled, pitted, and diced
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 2 slices of low sodium smoked turkey breast slices, chopped
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 large lettuce leaves, chopped (I used green leaf lettuce)


  1. Combine the lettuce, tomato, avocado, onion, and turkey breast in a bowl.

  2. Squeeze lemon juice over the ingredients.

  3. Gently mix the salad ingredients. Divide the salad and serve on two plates.
